How You Can Help


From volunteering, donating, choosing from our Amazon Wishlist, doing a fundraising event, signing up to easyfundrasining and giving as you shop to recyling ink catridges and sending us your used stamps, there are so many ways you can help raise much needed funds for our resuce dogs.


All our staff are volunteers so you can be rest assured that every penny raised is used for the dogs in our care.

Life can be challenging – especially for our older or less able-bodied dogs to whom we provide ongoing support so if you’re up for a challenge and want to help out, head over to our Just Giving page and dive right in! 

There are lots of ways you can help us to raise funds with every single penny you raise going directly towards helping the dogs in our care.
You don’t need to be stuck for ideas if you’d like to help out but if you’re stuck for something to do, take a look at the suggestions below – there’s something for anyone and everyone who’d like to help us and our dogs so why not give one of these a go?
Organise a sponsored dog (and/or human) walk, run or swim.Host a coffee morning or quiz night.Have a garden party with lots of fun and games for dogs and people alike.Hold a cake bake.Open your garden to the public.Organise a charity raffle or tombola.Go car booting or hold a garage or table top sale.If you can make it, bake it, swim it or sing it, cycle, upcycle or recycle it to help us that’d be absolutely great!
We are a small, registered charity run entirely by unpaid volunteers, so we are incredibly grateful to receive donations. These enable the charity to continue its work in rehoming and caring for dogs who need our help.
Every donation we receive is directed entirely towards the dogs we are dedicated to supporting:


Just £5 can help us buy the flea or worm treatments we provide for every new owner when they adopt a dog.

A £10 donation can make a significant contribution towards some of the specialised treatments dogs on our Sponsor A Dog Scheme may need to manage a short-term or ongoing medical condition.


Donating £20 goes a long way to supporting our Lifetime Foster dogs whose veterinary costs are mainly borne by the charity.

Save those used postage stamps and send them to us! Click here for the address - we can turn them into much needed pennies for pups... pups....

Using Give As You Live you can raise donations to Labrador Welfare at no cost to you. 

Simply register and take yourself on-line shopping via this free, fundraising platform. Every donation you generate will help us support the dogs in our care.


Shopping online through Easyfundraising is a great way to help Labrador Welfare. Registering is simple and it’s totally free. 

Choosing us as your cause, and shopping with high street and on-line retailers such as M&S and eBay, you’ll generate a donation from the retailer direct to Labrador Welfare as a thank you for shopping with them.
